After an exciting 8-8 tie between Good Counsel and Loyola, the playoff picture became set.
Loyola (6-0-1), who was led by Ross Stotesberry (10g, 23a), Jonathan McGrath (13 goals), and Eric Snyder (16 points); will face St. John's at Reisterstown Ice Arena at 4:15pm on Tuesday, February 21st.
Good Counsel (5-1-1), with their 3-2 victory over DeMatha 2 and their 8-8 tie versus Loyola earned the right to face Georgetown Prep 2 on February 21st at Rockville at 4:30pm. Good Counsel is loaded with firepower with three players who finished in the top 5 in scoring (Steven Ralston, Chris Sabate, and Mason Leahy).
Gonzaga 2 against Mt. St. Joseph 2 is probably the most intriguing game. Gonzaga won the regular season matchup 2-1 and only sits in the third spot because of their victory over Landon 2 (both teams finished 5-2). They will play at Wheaton Ice Arena on February 21st at 7:15pm.
Landon 2, led by Colton Rupp (tied for the league lead in Goals), will play DeMatha 2 at Mt. Pleasant Ice Arena in Baltimore at 4:00pm on February 21st. Landon won the regular season matchup 7-4.
